The last date for the PPC to appeal was the 20th June 2019. Do you think that I would have heard by now if they were appealing? The judge did give the PPC and myself permission to appeal.

Timed out. Your judge decided their claim was only worth £3.
How can they argue against that as you paid and they accepted it.

You still have in your armory Abuse of Process

They did sit on my cheque for some time but I was on it.
If they had appealed I would have bought up the abuse of process in my response.

I think that their hands are full now chasing all these 2015 toxic claims. Have any of these hit the courts yet? Popcorn at the ready.

    Final postscript on this.

I confirmed with the court today that no appeal has been made by the Claimant (the Claimant and myself were given permission to appeal). I did not think that they had appealed but the way that the courts are working the paperwork is very behind.

The PPC did not advise the court that I had paid the judgment or sent me a receipt. I obtained a letter from my bank confirming that the cheque had been cleared through my account and a copy of the cleared cheque and sent these to the court. It's been marked as judgement paid. I have also checked my records on Experian and there is nothing showing.

Thanks to all that have helped me. You are doing a great job.

A cynic might say they didn't issue a receipt out of spite. It must have been a clerical oversight.
