Well as you say just wait and see. Obviously if they do appeal you will be the respondent and have the opportunity to state your case .see if the parking company order and pay for transcript first0

What does it cost for an appeal?

£120 plus the cost of the approved judgement
On what point did he give them permission to appeal?0 -

The judge awarded the PPC the actual cost of the parking, £3.00. No costs have been allowed for either party. I think it was fair and I am not disappointed with the result. The judge thought that I should pay the £3.00 because that is what he considered that I owed the PPC.
I hope that this is now over however the PPC have been given right to appeal. I hope that they have the sense to not throw any more money at this but I somehow doubt it.
I would like to that everyone that has helped me in this long journey and I will update further with the details in due course.
You did win and I would suggest that the judge decided to take the p*ss out of them for being so stupid
Bear in mind that if they appeal, today's case is on record and that record shows a fellow judge made judgement for £3.00
No doubt Renshaw-Smith will be throwing more toys from his pram and complain about the judge again. HIS DOWNFALL IN THE COURTS
If he does continue it will be retaliation and that is not what the small claims court is for
YOU WON .... get that £3.00 off to them, the pram needs a wash0 -

I did wonder also if he was taking the p-ss,
Please don't think that I am disappointed with the result at all, Feel a bit for the people that represent these PPC's as they don't seem to have much choice and the two that I have met actually seem quite pleasant.
I just wish that I had taken a bag of popcorn with me today.

I think that it was after the judgement and after he had stated that there were no costs for either party.

Make sure you get a receipt for the payment off them
It's down to the Claimant to notify the Court when the defendant pays up
Only then does the CCJ get removed from the Register
There is no compulsion for Claimants to do this, and some don't bother
Meaning more hassle for the Defendant after discovering the CCJ hasn't disappeared0 -

They are learners looking for court experience and learning how the sewers work is all part of disneyland experience
As said, make 100% certain that within the time period to pay you get confirmation of receipt because they could become vindictive and deny your payment. They would love you get a CCJ
Me, whatever and however you pay them, send a copy to the court. Not usual but you cannot trust the man who once clamped cars0 -

Another one bites the dust!
Come back if they try an appeal - which court area?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
