Beamer,
You are right they do use these cases to boggle your mind and you have to look at these cases and try to understand the legal principle that is involved.
I think perhaps they thought that the 80 pages would scare me off.

Agreed ..... years ago, I got a council ticket in Brighton. The council rejected my appeal and sent me 50 pages to support their claim.
I took it to the Traffic Penalty Tribunal and won. They again sent the TPT 50 pages and another 50 pages to me.
At the time, Brighton was Tory run, so I wrote to the leader of the council with a copy to David Cameron about the complete waste of public money and how stupid they were.
I did not get a reply from Cameron (no surprise) but the leader of Brighton council did send an apology
BWLegal are out to prove a point for their scamming clients and in my mind, if they want to waste their money, more fool them.
None of the cases they quote refer to you and you must show a judge the same0 -
Sending half the New Testament in a parking matter is, imo, unreasonable, as is quoting a criminal case hinging on forensic evidence. These should be brought to the attention of judges, and also asking for amounts not sanctioned law.You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0

The WS is actually from Excel's litigation department. It does seem a bit robo as there is a lot of irrelevant stuff in there.

You make a good point there Deep especially for someone who suffers with migraines. They are aware of this but have basically called me a liar.
They have also claimed that I never intended to obtain a ticket.
This had really p
d me off and made me angry.
Doctor is writing the letter anyway and I have found some really good information on the Migraine Trust website relating to the Equality Act 2010.

The scammers don't like losing in court but they will throw lots of money at a case because it is a loss leader.
They may lose more money than they make, but can then say, we take X000 people to court per year, or we win X00 case per year, or, we won XX cases at this very site last year, all in the hope the motorist will just crumble.
Unfortunately many do.
If every parking case went to court, the court system would collapse and the scammers would lose more money than they make from their wins.
If you have an electronic version of the 80 page docs I will happily look at them or salient pages via pm. I may not be able to find much you haven't already found yourself, but I am willing to look. Thank you very much Fruitcake. It's very good of you to offer. It would take me a long time to scan all the 80 pages and I need to get the WS sent later this week. I am thinking of taking it up to SOT myself. I may PM you if there is anything specific if that is OK.
Thank you

No worries. I appreciate it will be a lot of work to scan it but I am happy to take a look if you are able to find the time.
I am no legal expert, nor the most experienced at dealing with PPCs, but I spent years poring over long documents from Acts of Parliament to technical specifications and can be quite the pedant when required.
You could always drip feed them to me a few pages at a time if that's more convenient.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks0 -
Thank you Fruitcake for your help. I may PM some photographs of the car park. It's quite an ambiguous car park that with the Travelodge in the centre.
Thank you again
Snakes.
