  • Thank you. No, I didn't mention anything regarding it being unfair in terms if the relations in my complaint. Strange?

    I was just surprised at:
    *unfair relationship concerns
    A Plevin reference?

Moneyineptitude, my job entitled me (still at same job 17 years later) to 6 months full pay sick leave and 3 months half pay sick leave.
You should probably highlight this to the Ombudsman if you decide to refer your rejection.

Should I have worded it differently on the complaint?
Too late for considerations like that as your complaint is already rejected.
  • Thank you, moneyineptitude.

The sale was made on a non contact basis. In what way were you made to believe the PPI was a prerequisite of the loans?

    Again.....Non contact in what way?
Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi
  • GAFF, I Really don't know. I'm really not clued up on this lingo.
  • Sorry, meant Taff!!

Iamwales, purely because I don't recall seeing a breakdown of a repayment figure with and without insurance which would have given me the option to choose. I'm 100% certain I would have picked the cheaper option given the choice.

Common sense would tell you that product + insurance will cost more than product alone.

Did you do this complaint yourself, or did you use a template and tick anything that might apply?

I missed that in the Bank's responses. If that's an exact quote, then it suggests that the PPI was taken out by the OP via the internet (or by mail), which would mean that the OP mis-bought rather than was mis-sold. If that's the case, there is no point in the OP referring the complaint to the Ombudsman.
