opting in to the mediation
People who follow this forum's advice & coaching, report wins 99% of the time.
People who go off piste with their own defence, trying Mediation pointlessly then completely overlooking Witness Statement and evidence stage, run a risk of losing a case, same as people who never find the forums.
OK so you are stuck with that defence now but please, spend time reading what to do next to rescue it.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Sorry for asking about things that are in the newbie sticky, my head was all over the place rushing to get the defence done in time, the sheer amount of stress involved with this whole thing is overwhelming at times.
I couldn't find a defence in the examples that was anything like my situation so i simply followed the header and footer and filled in the middle with whatever i could come up with, i did post it on here hoping for someone to review before i sent it but there was no response so i had to go with it.
I've now followed the instructions to fill out the directions questionnaire and i'm sending one to the court and one to Excel as instructed.
Based on what i'm reading it is then a waiting game, in this time i should be gathering evidence but considering this happened almost a year ago how am i meant to provide evidence that they did not have signage up to say the machines weren't in working order or not accepting my money. I was alone on the day so i don't have a witness to back up what i'm saying.
Some suggestions will be greatly appreciated at this point before i dig the hole even deeper.
I'm very grateful for your assistance and knowledge and I thank you for your time spent helping me here.0 -
Have I missed something here
From your post on 11/12/17 when you received DRP letters there was nothing until your post of 21/6/18 saying that you'd received a MCOL claim form from Northampton CCBC.
What about a LBC, did you receive one?0 -
I recieved the LBC on 15/5/2018, i had a load from DRP and Zenith in between but was told to ignore so i never posted anything in the meantime.
What was the significance of the LBC in your question? Just so that they followed procedure i assume?0 -
correct, they should have followed the PaP protocols that came in last october (2017)
so one of your complaints would be they failed to follow the PaP 2017 if nothing had arrived , but as it has then you shoulod have included it in your timeline of events so far , so people here are aware of what has gone on (or hasnt)0
