White would be better IMHO, could you colour match a small paint pot and paint the insides to match the cabinets?0
-
Yes. We figured White might work and if not it would be easier to paint so we've accepted that as a solution. Not impressed though0
-
No I wouldn't be either. Did they bung any freebies your way?0
-
Nope. Although we need to see our salesperson/designer when she is back from holiday anyway, and she knows we have a bathroom we want to do next so we'll see if she does something.
We've got the go ahead to use one of the oak ones for the time being as we have an appointment for worktop templating later this week so we need to have one of them in place for that. They'll write it off. So I guess we've got a free cabinet we don't really want0 -

This is a catalogue error. The inside of glass display cabinets in the Tiverton range used to be supplied in off white but are now supplied in oak. This changed a couple of years ago now, but the pictures in the brochure did not.
Unless your designer is new to the company she should have known this, though to be fair to her, with the number of details you discuss with customers when designing a kitchen it is easy to overlook informing you of this one. The company should really have changed the pictures by now, and some of the store displays which are still the old spec.
Hopefully she will sort it out for you when you see her.0 -

I went in to wickes looking for a kitchen at the weekend and like you say all the cabinets in that range with the glass doors did have oak veneer inside0
