Then I wouldn't have bought from Bedworld and wouldn't be cursing about how unhelpful, rude and incompetent their staff are.

I'm another one with a bad experience from Bedworld. Bad attitude on the phones - totally unhelpful and evasive of questions regarding the whereabouts of my order.

Couldn't agree more with above negative comments. Don't usually post on forums/like to complain, but sorry to say Bed World is verging on a bad joke! Late delivery, shoddy build, allen keys/bolts missing, metal brackets bent out of shape. Simply appalling. To top it off my Quidco didn't track either!

Please be aware that their delivery company do not deliver upstairs, which can be a pain if you live in a flat! To be fair this is stated in small print in their T&C's, would have been nice if a little more explicit.

Well I kind of wish I stumbled across this thread before I placed my order for kids bunk beds that are due to be delivered today. Now I am worrying that it may not turn up based on this thread and others I have found on the internet. Especially as I have now cleared the kids room in preparation, the mattresses (from another company) have been delivered and I am just waiting now.

Don't panic just yet, the thread is quite old. I assume other people would have posted more recently were they to have problems.

That's a good point. I'm just going to relax now before I have to build the bunk beds!

mien were delivered on time and they were in good condition - i got my LO the cabin bed that looks like a castle and the instructions were a bit complicated but it went up fine

also ordered 2 other beds and they went up easily

the only thing i will say is make sure you look at the measurements as we ordered a super kingsize bed(as described on the website) but when it was built and we put the superkingsize mattress on it it was around 20 cm widder after a bit of a google we found the beds measurements and that it was actually a eurpoean kingsize which is impossible to find a mattress for so we still have the bigger mattress on it

I'm a terrible waiter at the best of times. Eldest and his mum will be home any minute and I was hoping his bed would be ready.

I received an email at about 15:45 advising me my delivery won't happen today, reason stated as there is no stock of the bed.

The website was more then happy to take my money and select today's delivery date so suffice to say I am not at all happy.

They are currently looking into available stock of a more expensive bed, hopefully they can get it or something else to me by Thursday.

I'm off to brush up on my rights regarding the extra day I'm going to lose for the second delivery, although I will be happy with an upgraded and delivered bed at this stage.

So are you saying that your mattress is 180cm wide but the bed frame is 200cm wide?

If so that is quite common for the bed frame to be wider then the mattress.
