Last week I bought a pair of shoes from an online company and received an unconvincing email confirmation of my order. So far I have tried to contact them numerous times and have had no reply. The confirmation email stated £46.68 but £51.86 was taken from my account. I have had no info on dispatch of shoes. What are my rights here and is there any way to get my money back?

What is the name of the site, did you check they were legitimate before ordering?0

.yeezys.uk.com This was the website, I had a quick google search and typed the address into some website checkers and nothing came up to suggest it wasn't a legitimate website0

I can't find anything that would suggest that it is a genuine site, no mention of a location at all that I can find but in there is mention of dollars on one page suggesting they are based somewhere else in the world rather than the UK. That could mean that and difference in price is due to exchange rate.0

Hmm yes thanks... looks like the money is gone for good0

Ooops !!
No contact phone number , the domain ending in .uk.com, and this line in their "about us" ..
"We search the planet to bring you the best in sexy costumes, clubwear, fancy dress, uniforms, fantasy wear, lingerie and other accessories"
On a site that only sells trainers !!
I dont think you'll be seeing that money again0 -

The wording on the website itself is...poor, doesn't look professional at all. Plus, you can't find a registered address anywhere, or a returns address or a company number, so there's nothing to prove it's actually a registered company.
The web address is registered to someone who looks perfectly legit when you google them though, unlike some of the ones on the other thread, they've gone to no lengths to hide their details, so I'm not sure what to make of that part.
At first I thought it might have been this one because of the Yeezy name and the fact it says their business is mail/internet orders, but now I'm not so sure because of where the domain name is registered:

Always check Companies House - the search is free. If you can't find a registered company number on a website, I'd steer clear, they should always be displaying it.0 -

There are lots of established family business, sole traders, etc who are perfectly legitimate but won't have a Company Registration number so won't appear on a Companies House check.0 -
I have phoned the fraud line of my bank and they have said if I do not receive the goods I may have a chance to gain the money back0
