Completion date set - what do I need to do!?

We did ask multiple times for the supplier details and they kept saying 'don't know'!
Then I'd be asking them how they expect to settle any outstanding bill for usage prior to completion ? Even if the property has been empty there may well be a standing charge. The estate executors will need to ascertain whether there are any outstanding utility debts so if they don't know the suppliers then they need to be finding out pronto (via the link in my previous post if necessary).0 -
Lots of useful info here - didn't think about any charges on the accounts so will
1) find out who their suppliers are
2) find out if there are any outstanding charges
3) take meter readings and photos on the day we get the keys and switch account names
4) cancel our current contracts at the flat for day of move
5) Inform council of new property once we've completed and then apply for discount if they offer
We have insured from date of exchange.
