I know it's good that it has shrunk, I just really wanted it to have shrunk enough to be removed as the drugs are making me feel so ill. Feeling a little sorry for myself when I really shouldn't.
Just having a bit of a downer day. Today is 16 days since a good friend died, and I should really just be grateful to be alive!
You are allowed to have downer days.
If you read my diary you will see I often do!
Remember how well you are doing.

So my diet went weird today. Really weird.
For breakfast I ended up having the chicken curry and cabbage that I had not ate last night - cold.
Lunch - some sugar free sweets
2nd lunch at 3 pm - veg in tomato
tea - rice and aubergine/tomato
pudding - overnight oats which I should have had for breakfast!
I now have wind!100 -

_pale__pale__pale_ OMG I can't believe you did that!
Welcome back whiplashy . Although I'd usually recommend anyone to join straight away and not put it off, in your position I'm not sure. You'd save a fiver with a voucher and you could lose up to half a stone before your holiday. But then depending on the type of holiday you could put it all back on (I speak from experience ). If you're doing self catering then you might be able to stay on plan but it might spoil your holiday if you'd normally eat out a lot. If you think it'll be hard to stay on plan then I'd join when you get back. It's worth thinking about.
As for joining a group: Yes, you can just turn up. In your case, because of the anxiety, I'd call the consultant then you know she'll be looking out to welcome you. Groups really aren't scary, everyone is in the same position and have a common interest to talk about.
Let us know what you decide and do post regularly as this thread is really supportive. It certainly helps me to stay on track.0 -
