Had a busy morning. Got the grass cut at the front of the house and upstairs cleaned. Wanted to be all tidy before I go back to work on Wednesday. Then a lovely lazy couple of hours this afternoon with yesterdays Sunday Times and a bag of mini eggs DD bought me for my birthday. Just as well I did the grass as its been raining since about 2pm.
Jackie - I hope your grandson has a safe journey. The situation in North Korea is very worrying, I suppose we just have to hope they have the sense to resolve things peacefully.0 -
GINTOT you have given me the jolt I need I think. We are with Virgin and a recent e-mail has informed us there is to be yet another price increase. We are currently paying around £83 a month for tv (top package), line rental and broadband. Shortly to jump up to around £86. It's getting beyond a joke as, like you, I watch very little tv. We have a Freeview box at the caravan and I would be happy with one here. It's Mr TA who is the stumbling block - he says he would miss the football on the BT sports channels! Grr.
