I have 3 girls all currently screaming.. that ear piercing blood curdling scream that boys don't ever do.. please may I duct tape their mouths shut and hang them on coat hangers in next doors tree?

Yes. There's a particular pitch little girls at the nursery about 20 yards away from the house manage to reach that sets my teeth on edge, so I feel your pain. I particularly like the idea of the coathangers in the tree; that should keep them nice and safe, and there are several at the nursery so I await your comments on the viability of doing it with baited breathe.

(((Hugs))) Natty, and Wow! Mrs MP, how do you know whether you're coming or going?

Several annoying tadpoles munched. Very satisfying. Cracking on.
    Better is good enough.

    Natty (((HUGS)))

Not much doing here today; after all the blackberrying and baking yesterday, I got Mr LW to help me wash my hair in the evening, and I think that was a task too many, as I have absolutely no spoons today to speak of. Also a lot of pain in my foot for no discernable reason. And I can smell cigar smoke again (I have phantosmia, just to add to things) :( So I'll have to try and catch up between now and Thursday (Mia arrives early on Friday).
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
  • Dd3 (the bride) has just rung me she's been Drs and the rash on her tummy is shingles! Poor love I'm sure it's been brought on by the stress of everything she's doing.
Had a quick tidy round between shifts I'm back at work in a couple of mins for after school club then tonight I'll clear the bedroom for her ready for Thursday then get on with knitting and reading my coursework.

Have a good afternoon all. X

as predicted.. letter arrived from doctors wanting me to make a double appointment regarding blood results.. doesn't say which though as as far as I am aware they only did one lot and I have a script for that already.. well if they won't tell me what it is to discuss, I'm not going.

  • Hi all

Is it a sign of aging when you get annoyed when technology doesnt work? I mean, really seriously, I am going to throw a brick at this annoyed? Back in a little while when I have calmed down (and hopefully managed to log into my online banking).

    [*]Be kind to myself

You should prioritise that one. So sorry to hear of 2 losses in such a short time, but those lovely memories of what made you strong will live on, so they are in you even if you can't see them. Hugs.
