Good, also double check that the excess insurance policy includes for hire in the UK if you are a UK resident.

You had me panicking! I went through Moneymaxim and their info said yes I would be but then I couldn't find it in the small print of the Insurefor.com policy so I have just phoned them and yes I am.

I use Green Motion every week - never had an issue with them (Three different branches now for when I travel to work and have a car from a fourth depot local to me on the drive as the wife's car is in the garage been fixed).

Book direct and not through a screen scraper and take a good video of the car to show any existing damage but that applies to most car hire companies.
