Child car seats

Can anyone advise me as to whether it is legal to have children aged 1 & 6 travelling in car seats in a convertible BMW, either with or without the roof down. I have tried to look on line but can't seem to find out. I am hoping that the answer is NO, but I want to be sure. Thanks.

Yes it is, either with or without the roof down, why wouldn't it be?
