Referring to the OP #1 the reason why that ladder is so cheap is because its diy grade and made of tin foil. Trust me, when you are at the top of it or climbing it, you will wish you had a proper ladder ! . The Professional grade equivalent is about twice the price. In my back garden i have a triple extension professional grade ladder. Believe me it weighs a fair bit and if im carrying it myself, i break it down and take one section off it. It takes two to carry the whole thing safely. When its erected i feel totally confident and safe on it.
Its perfectly possible to die or suffer life changing injuries from less than gutter level. Its not worth it.Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..0 -
If you want to see how not to use a ladder, have a look at the Wickes ladder webpage...

The bulbs in those types of lights fail quite often - usually a 500W bulb.
Find someone competent to replace with a 30-40W LED Light and it will last longer and save on electricity. expect less than £50 for the light (some good ones for £30-40 on amazon).
LEDs often have the cable attached so you need a £3-4 inline waterproof connector too.
For a neighbour I'd fit it for £20 on a good day. Professionals would charge a lot more.0 -
we just a quote regarding the lights, they will go up and take the bulbs out, find and replace the bulbs in both lights for £50.0
