If you are who I think you are... Yippee! You are back!!
:hello:
:j:j:j:j
I must investigate swagbucks etc. You are doing such a good job of magicing money from nowhere it is putting me to shame. My boring, sitting on a bus for ages, commute needs to start paying for itself! There is free wifi so I have no excuse!
Mortgage free as of 12/08/20!

Haha, taka. It's good to be back, I have to say! And fab to see so many familiar names cropping up too!!
The bus journey is ideal for surveys.... otherwise, it is just wasted time! WiFi doesn't always work well enough on it so getting thrown out part way through is always a danger, but there really is nothing to lose!!0 -
Glad to see you back. I lurked on your other threads for years with a rare post. I am also using another user name now simply because I forgot my log in details so had to start again. Do you hear from P...ia and if so how is she?All that clutter used to be money0

Hello! Yes, I do hear from P. . we actually went on holiday together earlier this year. She's doing ok.....has just committed to buying a house herself so I'm trying to lure her onto MFW!!0

It would be nice to see her posting again. She had some rough times. All that clutter used to be money0

Yay for seeing so many familiar people, one way or another. I really do feel like I have come home and am very glad I made the move back. Thank you for all your inspiration along the way..... remember, I only do well on this journey because I have good people to accompany me!
So.... yesterday I did some Christmas shopping using Amazon vouchers I had earned online, so that was good. Also, shopmium are doing me well at the moment and I should have £10 coming back from them today. Another £5 from swagbucks was ordered yesterday and I hope to be able to order another one today.
And the first big piece of my "big stuff going on in the background" jigsaw has been put into place. It may just involve DH and I reserving a new house.....the one we live in now is mine and this one will be ours.It will involve a bit of an increase in the mortgage but those figures will be worked through over the next few days. Nothing too scary and still very overpayable. The initial deposit has been paid and I will be working on things this week re new borrowings and legal stuff. Happy Christmas to us :rudolf:
It won't be ready until September at the earliest so still loads of time for me to earn more free money to help buy the extras we will no doubt want.

Ooh, Happy Christmas to you indeed! How lovely! Wonderful that you can find an "ours" place that you like, rather than a house you already had. What will it do to your commute, still an acceptable one?2023: the year I get to buy a car0
