  • Well today I have been playing with the snowball calculator according to my new MFW predicted budgets. It's all printed off and ready for me to write actual results Vs predicted results. If it all goes according to plan I shall be most pleased. There is a bit of wriggle room for Life's curve balls but hopefully they'll only be of the nice variety.

My debit card for my new matches betting/extras account arrived today so I'm good to go at the weekend!

And I went to the gym after work. I know I should be pleased with what I *can* do but it was most frustrating to have to restrict myself so much. I need to give myself a good talking to.

I bought a ys trifle for pudding.....I've certainly not earned the calories for it, however so it will be a proper guilty pleasure.....

  • Yes they are indeed, beanie.

Another few £ withdrawn from SB today, hitting my "money for nothing" account this evening. Still feeling tetchy about switching to the new mortgage....the days are not going by quickly enough! I want to get signed on the dotted line sharpish! DH and I were talking grown up money stuff this evening concerning "The Plan".....I love it when we can talk realistically about our future. I am very lucky.

  • And I'm very appreciative of that fact. I certainly don't take it for granted.

Can't sleep so have done a couple of surveys....the joys of life as a MFW,.......
  • Finally got a couple of hours sleep before the alarm went off to start it all.over again. Coffee will be the order of the day I think?

Still, it is the end of the month so I can start pondering on September's moves towards mfw life, and plan October's challenges.

A couple of people have asked me about swahbucks....I've done really well from them.so far and wouldn't hesitate in giving it a go if you want a few extra ££ or vouchers to use. It's click, surveys and running video apps to collect points.

  • .....and a payout from prolific has been received in the bank too. Just in time for my end of month round up!
  • ....and another couple of surveys on the bus journey home from work allowed me to request another SB payout too.

Shepherd's pie for dinner....and celebrating the end of another week. TGIF!!

I was thinking more of the phrase "the harder I work, the luckier I get"

Rats, I really, really want to start doing this, but I need to focus on all the "house tetris" going on at the mo. Good luckwith sb though - maybe I'll have the headspace in time for all the Christmas promotions.

  • It will be there when you're ready, KC. Just give me a shout when you can fit it in and I'll be happy to help. I've got another £10 about to come from there too....I have been very pleasantly surprised. Also cashed in a massive £1.43 to PayPal from qmee last night. May only be a little but it's now happily nestled in my money for nothing account.

And the sun is shining. Happy Saturday!!
