Welcome everyone! If you let me know how many days you intend to take your own lunch to work I will add you to the list :)

I hope you don't mind me setting one up for September FatVonD!

Of course not, somebody else started it ages ago but i don't know what happened to it, I only posted it last month as admin were looking for an August challenge for the newsletter and none of the usual suspects were around!

  • I'm going to do this too - working all of sept so aiming for everyday! And no coffee!
  • Sorry, didn't bold my target 16 days for me please. I have a nice sealed mug that doesn't spil in my bag (I travel a lot so not always near a kettle or microwave). I have a stock of mug shots and curried lentils in my desk when I am in the office though.

Well done for facing up to your debts and tackling them head on! Completing challenges monthly really helps :)

Thanks for this - I have just remembered my friend bought me a flask for birthday last year, must dig it out. Last month kicked the daily habit of getting coffee on the way to work at the McD drive thru with your lunch thread but need to continue this!

Good luck Weasel1! I have put you down as 21 (did you take lunch to work on Friday?). Coffee on the way to work is my downfall too but see FatVonD's post :)

Thanks leimichellecat, sorry for missing it! Prep is key :) I find the sachets don't fill me up and I end up looking around for more food, I am a hungry gutted thing though :rotfl:
