TV Licence- Changing method of payment?

For the last few years I have paid for my TV licence using their online services and using a credit card. A TV licence reminder is sent via email and it's all done online.
This year I wish to pay using the Paypoint payment option instead, the TV Licence renewal email does not cover Paypoint payments, so is it just a matter of calling at my local Paypoint and apply for a new TV licence from scratch?

yes the first one takes a few minutes so visit your pay point shop when it is quiet. Have you never of thought of going licence free and saving the money. I get my TV fix from Netflix and Amazon0
