Splashing taps

Hi

Kitchen tap is a tall U shaped with a side single lever, inherited, and no brand name on it. The water pressure is high and I have managed to regulate the cold feed but the hot feed has no regulator I can see nor do I want to reduce it as it is ok. When turned on it comes out not smoothly. If you look up into the exit hole, it is like a tube within a tube, hot from central tube, cold from the outer area. I'm guessing it needs an aerator. Problem is there seems to be no thread either inside or outside the end of the tap. All the aerators I've seen have a thread. Is there a solution to this?

Thanks
