  • Hi. Trying to get back on top of meal planning now all the work on the house is FINALLY over (only 6 months after it started).

    so, meals:
Monday: fish in breadcrumbs, chips, peas
Tuesday: mince in gravy, mashed potatoes, vegetables
Wednesday: chicken 'roast' (frozen, fully plated and ready to go, after roast chicken 10 days ago)
    Thursday: tuna pasta pie
Friday: stuffed pasta (kids) / spaghetti (us) with idiot's carbonara sauce
    Saturday: bacon & beans
Sunday: roast chicken and trimmings (and in-laws, IYSWIM) :rotfl:

All rather dull and traditional, but I don't have the energy to cook differently for me and DH after I've fed the kids at 4pm.

breakfasts - porridge, boiled eggs (but only on alternate days), bacon one day if there's any left over
lunches: HM soup, sandwiches, muffins (for lunchboxes).
