It might be worth contacting the manufacturer. Is there an Apple store in your area?0

Pay an electrician to test it .I have since chatted with apple online support and apple have confirmed that their laptop shouldnt give me a tingling electric shock and that this isnt normal at all they also told me I should unplug the laptop, shouldnt charge or use the laptop as they are safety concerns etc. They have obviously confirmed the laptop is defective. It might be worth contacting the manufacturer. Is there an Apple store in your area?0

Since it has a one year's manufacturer's warranty, stop wasting your time with Curry's and get it repaired direct by Apple. CRA will not apply, but if it cannot be repaired, they should replace it-you have no automatic right to a replacement.
What puzzles me is, why, as an IT professional of 15 year's experience, are you buying so much as a USB cable, let alone a Macbook, Pro, from PCW/DSG, whose after sales service is notoriously poor?No free lunch, and no free laptop0
