Looks exactly like a public road, with double yellows as per Council enforcement.

Is this sufficient for a witness statement to email to Gladstones?
    Witness Statement
I dispute UKPC claim for £241.25 for a parking charge at 19-27 St George’s Close.
UKPC have not issued a sign at the entrance of the site. UKPC have not shown pictures of the signs in-situ in their pack

I really don't know what to do here, I have no idea what to write in the statement and rally need some help. This is all very very confusing and I'm starting to get very panicked about the whole thing. I am happy to pay for someone to help write the statement for me.

In addition I have looked through the threads as instructed and still cannot understand what to write. It is all lingo that I do not understand.

Don't bother then and apologise to the court for your lack of knowledge of the court procedures. Instead tell the judge that you will rely on the Claimant's details as they fail to make the case they claim, are simply a regurgitation of a template and don't really add any light to the issue of the scope of the claimant's authority (the land), or whether the signs were capable of forming a contract. That presumes that those signs were actually there as all the signs have now been taken down.

Add that it is a very poor pack and you have been denied the chance of cross examining the claimant on it.

Am I able to also add that the amount they are claiming is not justified or is that getting too technical?

Try to say as little as possible outside of their pack. Just go through their pack and show the poor quality of the pics, your pics (from Google Street View) , the lack of signs and the inability to question the other side.

You might not even get a chance to speak so take a lead from the judge and answer with reference to the evidence in front of him/her.

All you need to know about CCJs is here:

Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
