Is there a reason why your daughter doesn't claim JSA? It'll get her NI stamp paid, which may be important in future. It'll also (unless she has large savings) give her a small income, so she can at least cover her day-to-day costs without dipping into savings.
I appreciate it's not the most enjoyable process, but it's generally a sensible thing to do claim when out of work and job-seeking. Which isn't to dismiss your daughter's achievements (I claimed myself for a short while after completing a postgrad degree).0 -

Had she thought of applying to a boarding school, maybe as a boarding housemistress? It would get her out of Dad's hair and give her a place to live.0
