Sky Speed Guarantee

I see that Sky are advertising a first 30 day guarantee or money back.
They quote "Enjoy Sky Fibre Max with our minimum download Speed Guarantee of 55Mb to our best ever Hub (router) within the first 30 days of your service, or you can get your money back."

On a quick look at their TandC's I cant see what happens after the first 30 days. Can you still get your money back?

    Is this a trick question?

Edit: in fact it does say on the FAQ -

If you contact us after 30 days, you’ll be offered the option to move to our next best fibre product free of charge.

Although that may just refer to the speeds in the first 30 days and not after.

  • I'm not sure if this helps, but when I was with Sky I didn't have high speed fibre broadband but even so, the speed was nowhere near what they claimed it should be. They upgraded me to fibreoptic for free for a year and that was after being well into the contract. Worth a call, I have always found them pretty good at sorting things so you don't leave.
