Alternatively, if you don’t have a printer, put your tip on a piece of plain paper and send it in to the address below – make sure you add your name, address, phone number and the signiature of a parent or guardian stating it is your own, original work.

Your cooking tip must include Sainsbury’s Kids bananas, so how about a scrummy Kid’s banana split or an cool ice cream sundae with Kids bananas. It’s up to you, but make it as fun, tasty and interesting as you can. See our ideas cards in your local stores for ideas of how to make your tip simple.

Terms and Conditions
1. Promotion open to UK residents, up to 12 years old. All entries must be accompanied by a signature from a parent or guardian. The families of employees of J Sainsbury plc, its subsidiary companies, agents or anyone connected with this promotion are not eligible to enter.
2. Completed entry forms must be returned to Banana Competition, PO Box 54660, London, N16 7YQ by 26/03/08. All entries must be submitted with the age of entrant, address, contact telephone number, and a signature from a parent or guardian.
3. Completed entries must be returned to the above address by 26/03/08. Winners will be notified by 10/04/08. Only one entry per person allowed.
4. There are three prizes of £100 worth of Sainsbury’s vouchers. These prizes will be awarded to one entrant in each age category who has, in the opinion of an independent judge, produced the most original and inspiring tip. The age categories are: under 4 years old, 4-8 years old 9-12 years old. All entries must be countersigned by a parent/guardian confirming that the tip is the child’s own original work.
5. In addition, one overall winner will win a family holiday (2 adults + 2 children) to St Lucia. The prize consists of return flights to St Lucia, transfers to and accommodation and breakfast at the Landings Hotel for 7 nights and a visit to an island banana plantation. UK airport transfers and meals other than breakfast are not included. The trip must be taken between the dates of 15 April 2008 and 30 July 2008 or 10 January 2009 and 30 March 2009 subject to availability. Prize dates are restricted due to expected adverse weather conditions. The winners family are responsible for insurance and any passport and visa requirements and may book additional child places at their own expense via the promoter’s travel providers.
6. There is no cash alternative to the stated prizes. The promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for one of greater or equal value. Proof of age may be required before prizes are awarded.
7. The promoter cannot accept responsibility for entries which are illegible, incomplete, delayed, damaged or lost in the post/transmission. The decision of the promoter in all matters is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
