Can I ask a question please? If there is a thread answering these questions, then I am really sorry... I did try looking for the answers before I posted.
I have come across this postal thread, and thought I would have a go... however, can you tell me what sort of postcards I should use? plain ones, with my address and answer on one side, and "Take a Break" on the other? or colourful picture cards.
If anything is worth doing, then it's worth doing right! Thanks in advance xxx2011: £10 Sports Direct Voucher, Peppa Pig Wii Game, Trivial Pursuit Card Game, £100 Chat magazine win, Dance workout dvd, Grease wii game,0 -

I tend to use free postcards that you find at the cinema.. though bought ones would be fine.
When you write your own address in, some of us have found it advantageous to write it around a 45 degree angle. Some also just write in their telephone number immediately below the Postcode. If you don't it's amazing how many get sent right back to you. Royal Mail's sorting machinery seem to pick up your address first otherwise so it's an attempt to trick automation!“We are not interested in the fact that the brain has the consistency of cold porridge.” - Alan Turing (1912-1954)0 -

I use the free postcards as well. However, I always put the postcards inside envelopes and send them that way. I don't like the thought of all my details being available to whoever handles the post. Guess I am just a bit more cautious with all the identity theft that goes on. Also I find that I can buy a box of 1000 envelopes from like Staples and get them Bogof (making 2000) for a fraction of what it costs to buy them in packs of 10 or 20 in Tesco. It's much cheaper that way.0 -

May I ask, have you won any postal competitions? Putting the postcard inside an envelope seems a good idea.2011: £10 Sports Direct Voucher, Peppa Pig Wii Game, Trivial Pursuit Card Game, £100 Chat magazine win, Dance workout dvd, Grease wii game,0 -
