    Don't need to apologise.

It's always a learning curve, and this is a great forum for that.

You should see some of the comping mistakes I've made - you can search for them!icon14.gif

Welcome to the forum - we love comps!

I personally have a little fetish for the postal ones, so I am always happy to see them. They don't get enough attention, partly because I am convinced that a lot of peops on here don't know about the thread / forget about it / don't have the time / don't want to pay, etc, etc, to enter them, but for me that is where I got my first big wins years ago.

So - keep on posting, and:

    Good luck!:D

The warmth of Andaluc!a will brighten up the Barbican on February 20, when acclaimed guitar soloist Rolando Saad, conductor Fuat Mansurov and the St Petersburg State Symphony Orchestra bring the spirit and colour of Spain to London.

Featuring one of the most popular concertos of all time - Joaqu!n Rodrigo's lyrical Concierto de Aranjuez for guitar and orchestra - with other guitar works by Rodrigo and Moreno Torroba, excerpts from Bizet's sensuous opera Carmen and Rossini's sparkling Barber of Seville overture, this concert is the perfect antidote to a London winter.

Leading Spanish guitarist Rolando Saad has given numerous recitals across Europe and America; Fuat Mansurov has had a distinguished career at Moscow's Bolshoi Theatre and the St Petersburg State Symphony Orchestra has made acclaimed CD recordings for Naxos.

Send your answer on a postcard, with your name, address and daytime telephone number to Barbican Competition, Rita Gillen, Surrey Comet, Unecol House, 819 London Road, North Cheam SM3 9BN. Closing date for entries is February 13.

To book other tickets, go to barbican.org.uk or phone 020 7638 8891; Barbican Centre, Silk Street, London EC2Y 8DS.
