    Took 3 weeks to do Pisa, Florence, La Specia (and the Cinque Terre ), Bolognia and Sienna this year.
    Needed all that time, mind.

    Thanks, my partner wants to do Rome in feb only because its a 30th birthday, was going to do 6 nights. I know it wont be hot atall, im guessing would be similer to out weather in feb, just like being in London too?

    Btw there are many Carnivals in Spain Feb 10-14th 2018, also Venice.

    I've done that trip. We had a lovely week in Verona including the day trip to Simione, another to Venice (by train) and I really loved all the Palladian architecture in nearby Vicenze.


    I don't think OP realises how big Lake Garda is. There are many 'resorts' dotted around the shores and staying at one of them would be a very different holiday from the sightseeing/culture/restaurant type city break.

    yea we have decided to the Lake Garda as a week/10 night holiday probally staying in Vicenze and will do more summer time when its nicer, Feb we will just do a 5 night stay in Rome as a city.
