    Presumably they are adults and old enough to make their own decisions (& mistakes).

    Leave them to it and let them get on with it.

    Yep. You should never be interested in your children or offer advice once they're over 18. That's just bad parenting.

    Grown adults should never come to web forums like this to ask for advice either. They should be out there making their own mistakes in blind ignorance. How else are they going to learn?

    For crying out loud, they're 20 somethings - don't pretend that they're incompetent sprogs.

    let then make their own adult decisions - if it goes wrong, its all part of growing up and wearing bigboy pants.

    It is all part of growing up, I agree. That's why people who are older and more experienced in life sometimes offer advice to younger people who choose whether or not to take it.
