    Thanks for the thread Gers.

Hugs to Csarina, Karcher, moan away if you need to, we all need somewhere to offload.

Hugs to Dumpling, I have a DD who is bipolar, it's hard to see them suffer isn't it.

Yesterday I was a lady wot lunched, today I have my 1st boat clean to do, a flurry of texts and emails last night from 2 boat owners who are friends, one needs their boat cleaned before the Bank Holiday and today is my only free day. The other can wait longer but wants 4 weekly cleans done before they return next month.

I've filled all the paper work in so I have their details and I know what I'm doing when. I bought myself 2 black t-shirts so I don't ruin any of my nice tops, I might embroider my name on my shirts if I can remember how to do it on my machine! I still need to buy a few of the write on key fobs so I know which key is for which boat.

    Have good day everyone.
    Hugs Hester
    Chin up, Titus out.

My 12-year old daughter (now 22!) announced one day that when she was grown up she would like a Durex dog - she had mixed up Andrex with Dulux.
We still call them Durex dogs:rotfl:

  • Morning all,

    Quick one from me.

Played golf yesterday evening after work and as predicted, I was dreadful. Good laugh though and good to spend some time with the boys from work in a more relaxed environment. I was paired up with the big big boss, so I don't know if my poor golf has harmed the relationship or the lightheartedness has helped it.

Been to the gym this morning and I'm playing football tonight.

I was woken before my alarm went off with the sound of thunder, decided to just get up as it's my favourite weather.

Poached eggs and bacon for dinner tonight.

Hope everyone has a lovely Wednesday :)

    Morning everyone,

Dry and reasonably bright here but very humid, WM is doing its thing and hopefully it will stay dry all day.
Was busy busy yesterday as drove up to the Midlands to look at possible horse, she is a smashing little mare and we got on very well, don't want to jinx it by saying more. Boy do I ache today after months out of the saddle :rotfl:
My friend and I are meeting another pal for afternoon tea, she faces a nasty old op at the end of the week so we will fill her up with cake and giggles, bless her heart x
Love and hugs to all struggling, have a good day folks x

Lillibet, my 90 year old aunt told everyone in her nursing home that she has a durex coat (she meant gannex, the brand of coat made famous by Harold Wilson.

Last day of puppy sitting this week. She's been very good although yesterday was a bit topsy turvy as DD and Sil had a tiler in finishing the kitchen splashbacks. He's back again this morning so it will be another day of taking pup out on the lead because the back patio is covered in tile shards.

We'll be late home tonight and then tomorrow will be spent packing to go first to North Wales for the weekend and then to Yorkshire for the rest of the week.

Fingers crossed for DH today because he is supposed to find out if he is being made redundant today. We're hoping he will be but I'm trying not to count chickens.
  • Morning ((((((((((hugs)))))))))) if you need one.

yesterday afternoon OH passed out in the bedroom, I was out of course, just across the road at the neighbours.........he was ok when I got back. Woke me at 2am moaning about his head, he went back to sleep, I was still awake at 5am!!

Trundled him off to the Drs, at last!! someone agrees with me that his spondylosis is the probable cause of his headaches. She has given him more medication to try and relieve the pain and has referred him to the neurologists........

I am knackered, expecting our computer chappie this afternoon so will not get a nap, although OH will.

Soup and stock made yesterday, need to freeze the stock, it will make 2 lots of scotch broth.

No idea whats for supper, I might even have the last two frozen meals from the freezer before I order replacements.

Not a very good night last night as overtired, hot and worrying about Mr Fix It's oncology appointment early this morning. However the appointment went as well as it could and the status quo remains for now. Next one is scheduled for sometime in Feb 2018. So back home and we can relax.
WM is currently on, doing the bedding from Monday and the sun is trying to come through the clouds.
This afternoon we are going to DD's so that Mr Fix It can fit the new part to the TD and hopefully resurrect it. Tea at DD's will be a takeaway to celebrate Mr Fix It's results, probably chinese and dad is coming down too. Any positive results have to be celebrated these days :rotfl:.
WM has finished so off to hang it out.
Hugs to all and enjoy the rest of Wednesday.

    Good morning all

Thank you for starting us off Gers

Haven't posted for a few days as I have been feeling sorry for myself.

Hadn't seen DS, DiL or DGS for over 4 weeks. Then had a call yesterday, would we like to meet for half an hour. Lovely to see them but then said "we're going for something to eat, do you want to come"? Made our excuses and said no thank you, can't afford to get stuck with the bill again.

Visited mother and she wasn't talking to me as usual, I went to leave and was told in no uncertain terms it's my job to talk to her, she definitely hasn't mellowed with age :D

Some days I would like to run to the wild / wide blue yonder.

Hope you all have a good day.

Good afternoon everyone, thanks to Gers for stating the thread and hugs to anyone that needs one.

There was rather spectacular thunder and lightnening during the night so the air feels a good bit clearer this morning.

I finally got the decision on my Ill Health Retirement application and it's been approved :D which is such a relief :D

I must get my finger out and crack on with the admin for the voluntary group I support this afternoon and get that off my "to do" list. Apart from that I've no plans though hopefully will get some time in the garden later.

I hope everyone has a good day x
