To be honest, I've been driving for 35 years and I'm now at the point where I'd rather catch the train or let a coach driver do the driving but saying that, I'm driving to Blackburn tomorrow for 3 nights in a Travelodge but I'm looking forward to getting the train from Blackburn to Blackpool for the day - I hate driving in the dark (the car lights from vehicles in the opposite lane seem to 'blind' me!)

I'm looking at Shearings Coach Holidays as well so I'll go back to the ferry website again and compare prices. I work in a school (but not on teachers wages) so price is always the main stumbling block!
