The landowner, who may or may not be the parking company, could get the registered keeper's details from the DVLA and if it matches the driver's name they could in theory pursue the driver to court for trespass.
I think this is very unlikely.

As above, come back to this thread if you get anything through the post, otherwise ignore the PPC from now on.

If you ever get another PCN, read the NEWBIES first before doing anything. The driver's identity should not normally be revealed except in very specific circumstances.

Tell all your friends and family to come here first as well to find out how to beat the scammers.
The basic rules are, do not pay, do not ignore, do not reveal who was driving.
I married my cousin. I had to...
    I don't have a sister. :D

  • Many thanks for your time and advice.

Final question, should I get back to this thread if I receive email correspondence back?

If they don't have your domicile address they can't really chase you. Ignore their emails.

Come back if you get anything through the post from them - extremely unlikely.

Is this connected in any way to the infamous Changegate car park in Howarth?

Possibly as the OP posted on a Changegate thread first before starting his own.

Flippin' heck, OMG this is ATROCIOUS:
Thank you for your reply, However we cannot and do not make exceptions for individuals concerning their medical conditions. I am sure you will be aware that people with more severe conditions I.e wheel chairs users and so on so forth plan their trip well in advance which do result without any problems.

Due to this we obviously cannot make exceptions and so your appeal regretfully has been unsuccessful

    Regards

    Bridge north parking

The OP needs to refer this discrimination to the local Trading Standards and to the EHRC.

    - Failure to make reasonable adjustments even though they 'knew or should have known' about the disability (once the appeal went in, they knew). They have a legal DUTY as a service provider, under the EA 2010; discrimination is a criminal offence.

    - This bit - I can't even SPEAK or TYPE to explain my horror at what they've said to an amputee who chooses not to use a wheelchair:

''I am sure you will be aware that people with more severe conditions I.e wheel chairs users and so on so forth...''

    :eek::eek::eek:

Falls over with shock...who on earth could type that...what sort of person thinks that's OK or true?!

But if it is Changegate car park, isn't this the scumbags who can't get DVLA data, so NEVER give them your address!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

  • Good evening
I am very sorry to reply randomly to your reply on this thread.
But I would like to get in touch with you regarding a comment you made on a thread in 2015 (March 30th) regarding a Michael greet.
If there is a way of messaging privately that would be great. Hope to hear from you.
    Many thanks
    Natasha
  • Sorry that is for StaffsSW

    Second Anniversary
    Hi,

I've looked around the site and seen the advice to ignore the Parking Charge from the people who run Haworth Central Car Park. They are not able to trace addresses from just the vehicle's registration number. My ticket fell off the windscreen while away from the car and I got a ticket demading money tucked under the windscreen wipers. Assuming this was a normal firm I sent in an appeal. Then I read the forums.:(

What do I do now? I tried to recall the email but I have to assume they have my address and details.

Other advice refers to successful appeals for car parks associated with retailers or retail parks. This isn't one of those.

What should I expect to happen next?
