I find the staff , when you can get through, very helpful. The online reporting of an accident is useless though.

If I could rate them no stars I would.
Hastings rejected a very valid home insurance claim. Hastings claimed my garage fell outside of my boundaries (incorrect), refused to cover my claim after submitting an official complaint resulting in me having to claim through Financial Ombudsman Service (claim was finally approved after FOS review).
Hasting refused to outline any corrective actions or improvements they would make to prevent reoccurrence as this was a failure by the claims handler, claims handler manager and their complaints team. FOS agreed this was a very obvious and blatant error and an investigation needed to happen but are unable to force them to do anything has to go through FCA.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS - you get what you pay for, which is useless service and fraudulent business practices.
