Mobile provider price matching

I'm just reaching the end of my Vodaphone 12m contract and got the usual call from them to see if they could keep me. Unlike Orange they were really keen and offered some OK deals, but I said I was busy and could they call me back in half an hour.

Got straight on to MSE and found the best deal I could, so when he rang back I'd be prepared... After 11 minutes of sales talk he matched the best deal I could find without me having to bother about claiming cashback! Main thing is to have the deal in front of you and work out how much it is a month after cashbacks etc. and tell them that's what you want to pay per month. Stick to your guns as he kept saying he couldn't match it, but did in the end.

I'm sooooo pleased I don't have to jump through the cashback hoops!
Don't blame me, it was like that when I got here!

    6230i with 200 xnet mins + 50txts for £14.99/month. Vodafone normally charge £30/month for just 200 mins!

That's a good deal, especially since the 6230i is one of the latest phones, I always find best to quite the OSPS and e2save deals as they're normally aware of them and normally some of the best
2p off is still 2p off!
