No longer need outbound flight on package holiday

It's a charter flight. I think you will be OK as it will be Olympic who have either chartered the whole flight or taken a seat block on the aircraft.
Still call them to let them know your intentions.0 -
Given the heightened security concerns you might well find awkward questions will be asked if you turn up for the homeward flight when you weren't on the outbound. Make sure you get their response in writing if they say you'll be OK.0

it's a package with Olympic Holidays, charter flights are with a french charter airline ASL France. Can't see a specific reference to my scenario in the booking conditions https://www.olympicholidays.com/help/booking-terms-and-conditions/
replies are a bit worrying, i'll just have to phone them Monday.0 -
Called Olympic and they said they'd just need to advise the airline I wouldn't be on the outbound flight. Also asked for my flight no and arrival time at the destination. Said I didn't need to do anything else0

Be fully prepared to turn up for your outbound flight and be told its cancelled!
Unless you have something in black and white from Olympic its not worth the risk..... it's very rare that airlines allow this to stop people getting cheaper return flights when the one ways are a lot more expensive0 -

The OP has booked a package holiday with Olympic Holidays who have almost certainly chartered the whole flight with ASL France.
But - as I said in post #14 and restated by Voyager2002 in post #16 as well as yourself - it's better to get it in writing.0 -

As others have said this is a charter flight and is very different from a scheduled flight. If Olympic, as charterer and ticket issuer are happy then I'm sure the airline will have nothing to say on the matter. Charter flights are a very different beast to scheduled.
II'll join everyone else and say an email from Olympic is good idea though.0 -
