My new job pays monthly instead of weekly, so I needed a small loan of £250. My bank refused to temporarily increase my overdraft due to a default on my credit rating/score. The bank told me not to apply for any loans for 90 days after that application.
I Googled payday loans and tried a few but got turned down. Then I found SafetyNet Credit. They wanted my bank login details which was strange, but I applied for £300 and immediately got £150 in my account. All the other PayDay lenders are refusing me. Is there another one like SafetyNet that I could try to get £50 to £100?

Probably.
Giving them your bank login details fast-tracks the process. You don't have to give them any additional ID. I'd like to know of other lenders that fast-track as I need the funds today ideally.0 -
Try your nearest credit union, round here you would pay a fee of £5 to open an account but are offered an application service straight away.
With you changing jobs could you check you aren't due a tax rebate? Last 2 summers within a couple of weeks leaving/starting new job HMRC have written asking me to claim back. (P800 notice.) I couldn't believe the figure of the latest rebate. Stuff giving access to your bank details.0 -
Thanks. I didn't know about credit unions, but mine is closed today. I didn't earn over the personal allowance last year so I won't get a rebate. I get paid in 6 days and just needed some cash today.0

I'd like to get my Oyster Card, go out for a few beers and do a food shop in Tesco. I've been doing 11 hour shifts and forgot about my eBay fee. It took me £16 over my limit
I've been trying to get a loan for 4 hours since my last post. One company agreed but couldn't take 0.17p from my account as I'm over by £16.0 -
£250 is an awful lot of beers. You cant afford it.
Stay at home and raid your kitchen cupboards.Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0 -

Are you off your head? You should never, ever give your online banking login details to anyone else least of all some shyster sub-prime lender you only just found online. Change your online banking passwords immediately and then head on over to the Debt Free Wannabe board for tips and advice on how to budget properly.0
