    It's lakeland slate; there is some quartz running through it, but it's not a pattern that needs matching; all slates are machined to consistent size. Floor isn't massively out of kilter either, we were thinking around the £1800 mark.

    I'm getting 55sqm of slate put down in a few weeks time.

    I'm supplying the slate and the backer boards, they are providing the grout, adhesive and sealers.

    They are laying the backer boards, laying 55Sqm of slate grouting and sealing, for £2700 all in.

    They were the middle quote we got.

    £140 a sqm is daylight robbery
