    Dunno what rating my dishwasher is, we run it on it's normal setting, probably once every three days and it does the job admirably.

    I reckon most stuff on eco settings don't do a proper job. Washing clothes in cool water dosen't get them clean, washing dishes in cool water doesn't get them clean, even our loo's don't even flush properly when the eco button is pushed.

    Just get a machine that does the job, fill it to capacity making sure it's loaded properly and it might cost you an extra 10p a wash, but you'll have fewer of them rather than having to run it twice or having to rewash some stuff by hand.

    Even an extra 50p a week will only cost you £26 a year.

    In my experience most dishwashers and washing machines take ages to do a wash.
    Never under estimate the power of stupid people in large numbers
