Issue with Decorator - Would you accept this?

Afternoon Everyone
We have recently been renovating our new house and we were originally going to decorate it ourselves but for various reasons we have had to get a decorator in
This is the first time I've been involved in anything like this and wanted other peoples opinions on whether the gloss work/cutting in is acceptable for a professional charging thousands of pounds?
imgur . com/a/CQ4Zc (Apologies as i'm not allowed to post links!)
These are just a few examples
We don't currently live in the property so haven't been able to keep a proper overview on things (lesson learned!) and his wall papering and other work seem fine but having just seen this I'm wondering I'm over reacting!
Thanks Everyone

Same here! If that's a professional's work, they shouldn't be in the business.0 -
Thanks for putting the link in flashg
I'm at a loss of what to do regarding him fixing it though - I understand that he should be given the chance to fix it but if he considers that acceptable i would rather not have him come back
I haven't paid him yet so i suppose i can always hold some back0 -
No! that would dive me nuts. I hate it when you pay a professional and you could have done a better job yourself.0

Definately not over-reacting! was he drunk when he did this? Or did he have a visually impaired apprentice? Very shoddy work, and an absolute cheek to call himself a professional. If it were me, I'd be with-holding payment until these issues are corrected.I got ham but i'm not a hamster.....0

Maybe say that you’re not paying for that standard of work but you know he needs to have the opportunity to fix it. Show him an example of the sort of standard you can reasonably expect (elsewhere in your home or a neighbour) and give him the option to walk away if he doesn’t think he can do it.0

The first two pictures look as though they were intended to be tidied but he forgot. In the second two he failed to get into the edge properly. With careful work its possible to tidy these.0
-
Likewise. It would be a crap result for a DIYer and it's even worse for a so-called pro.0 -
That's totally unacceptable. Was he drunk?0

How much did you pay him?Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0
