  • morning all
Last month it all got highlighted and a colour, this month is a bit of a slow one as I have needed a new roof and my oven has blown up....and so 3,000 has been added to my already massive debt :(
Now usually this would be a disaster and I still feel upset about it, but then on reflection, actually, if i hadnt been doing this, I wouldnt be able to pay for it.
The builder is a friend and the bill came to 3 grand and I have had to have an urgent meeting with my friend to re do my figures, so a grand September, a grand October and a grand in November has been agreed.
the set aside money is still being paid and I have nearly got the money owed to myself for everything now. So a slight delay for going hard at this now, although I am starting it, but just not to the debts, it has to go to the builder, debt paying will start in January instead for now. I have ordered a new oven, and that is coming next week and I have managed to pay for this in cash - not on my credit cards, not from an over draft, not borrowed - the money came from a ppi claim - so I am ultra proud of myself for this!!
Spending diary is ultra slim and I havent gone over my budgets at all!

    So 2nd snowball

Minimum payments off everything = 650.00 plus 1,000.00 to the builder = 1650.00 this month off snowball.

I have got some ppi refunds back too:
Cap one said i didnt have a ppi but they refunded me back 50.00 because they could see that i had recently contacted them to complain (not sure why they did this as they already refunded me money)
My sofa - refunded me 300.00 - that went straight into my oven buying.
my bank are still looking into my accounts as I have got 2 with them but they have been keeping in touch with me.
Barclaycard - said that i have ppi but they are going to look into it.
My car - they have wrote to me to say that they cant find my details as it was over 6 years old and that i needed to send them my original agreement??? - i have wrote back and told them that if they didnt have it, then I certainly do not have it and it must be archived.... that car was 16 grand!!!!! so will keep in touch about this one!

So September snowball is finally here and I am 3 grand in more debt but as long as I stick to the plan I am still paying the minimum, I have now got a new roof though - and i am still smiling!!!!!!!!!
    have a great week everybody!
    Aim to be debt free....
