Do you have a cleaner?

Yup. We have one who comes in every other week and does 5 hours cleaning
Well worth it. If we were to do it ourselves we'd start off with the best of intentions but then end up not bothering as regularly as we should. Plus I work away from home 3 nights a week and my wife works full time too, so we prefer to have quality time when we're at home together.0 -
To pay someone £12.50 per hour I would need to earn close to £20 before deductions, it sounds expensive to me.
I don't mind cleaning the house anyway it's hardly hard work if you keep on top of it.
I vacuum most days and clean the kitchen and bathroom as and when I use them.
I wash the windows but do use a car wash as my parking is not close enough to the house.0 -
yes i have a cleaner who comes once a week for 3 hours. She charges £10 an hour. She has a key as i'm out all day every day. I never see her.
If I didn't have her i'd live like a student!
I also have a gardener who comes once a fortnight.
Seriously, if I could find a cook I would - oh and someone to peel grapes for me.

I hate housework, and very rarely do it, but no cleaner for me.0

I would like one, but there is so mess around (kids toys and papers that they have half scribbled on), that so much needs to be moved before actual cleaning can take place!Pink Sproglettes born 2008 and 2010

Not yet. But it's on my list.
I detest housework. I do it, and OH does his bit, but still, it's such a thankless task.
Have a gardener once a fortnight. He is so cute, it's worth the money just to look out at him. I am Lady Chatterley BTW lol.0 -
No, I'm one of those weird people who actually like cleaning, if in the mood.
My elderly Mom has one, but she probably pays her more than she asks & wont allow her to do anything much.0 -
Id love a cleaner to do the stuff i find hard, such as windows, walls and doing the edges and corners of rooms where the vacuum doesnt get close enough.I'm not as supple as i was.:(This is a system account and does not represent a real person.
