Hi
I followed the instructions on how to get a better deal and spoke to someone at Virgin explaining I have found a better deal and would like to close my account. After explaining the deal I found, they said that sounds like a brilliant deal and no way we can beat that so we will close your account.
They didn't transfer me to anyone else, didn't try and negotiate to keep me - I have been with Virgin for about 12 years.
I am now panicking a bit as I didn't really want to leave - will they call me and try and keep me, should I stand my ground or should I call them back?
Thanks

Some get a call back others including myself never did. But I did not want to stay so did not matter to me. But in your case either wait and see or call them back.0

Lmao. You sound like my old man.
Sky deal ends, has to pay full price. rings up gets angry states hes leaving. They agree. Sky sports gets cut off. One week later old man rings sky pleading to reconnect.
No point threatening something if youre not willing to do it?!
You could try having a look around to see if you can find any better deals? Ive always preferred sky myself although it still hurts that i no longer have virgin broadband.0 -
What's the worst that can happen? No internet for a few days maybe...
The will call you back probably in about a week.0 -
