Monzo Identity Checks

Hi, im really keen to get the Monzo pre-paid card ahead fo my upcoming holiday. I got a gold ticket from a friend who is already a member and started applying, but they asked for a photo of my driving license and a short video of me to confirm my identity. I get that they need to do this as they are mobile only and have no other way, but... Is it secure? Its slightly worrying putting that on the internet as if intercepted anyone could use it to pose as me and steal my identity.

Can anyone offer any thoughts or advice on how secure this is?

Its fine. I've Monzo for a year all over the world.
