Ah I'm a massive fan of complimentary therapy. Doctors are absolutely useless IMO. I'd come of my anti-Ds asap if I could afford complimentary therapy. I get NO help from the Drs apart from them throwing meds at me - I can't get any help for my ankle, bad back or depression in terms of counselling or support workers. It's a joke. I have to pay for private, complimentary help so I have someone to talk to about my crazy thoughts lol.

Ah ok...hmmmm yeah that's an option then. Although I'm an Apple fan girl so not sure how I feel about building Windows machines :rotfl::rotfl:

We're going to have to agree to disagree on both points I think :rotfl::rotfl: Alternative practitioners are just there to take your money I reckon (scientist through and through!).

My ex was an Apple fanboy but I find them far too greedy and restrictive lol. He was a sound engineer though so I can understand why he preferred them, and it also makes sense why you would for work :)

For gaming rigs though, Windows machines are the shiz ;)

We have a surplus of dog walkers etc round here so I'm not sure that would be highly successful and I don't wanna start up another business BUT it's a good idea and I'll add it to the list.

I'm in talks with the school about the code club etc ;) also looking into a kids code club/e-safety/social media club outside of school. Unfortunately, these things take time to set up but potentially it's money making!

I'm all for science and I'm a HUGE advocate of the NHS but I'd love to have some more help for my mind and body and I just don't get it 😟 but then mental health is pretty much neglected all the time anyway.

I agree Windows is the way to go for gaming and I run Windows on my Mac when I'm gaming (don't have the time at the moment/i get obsessed).

What happened to the business you started in 2014?

Your ambitions are admirable but it's clear this business is never going to be successful enough for you to be self sufficient. You're entering a saturated market with little (relevant) work experience.

Find after school care for the children. You'll get tax credits to help with the cost. Then you can look for a proper job without unnecessary limitations.

How about the military? I think barracks are free (may be wrong), so they tend to do well because they don't have living expenses

And they might provide support for your health

I was at uni in 2014...?

That's the decision I need to make. Finding childcare and then being able to be better off. Hmmmm. The business will work and it will be successful but it's just gonna take time. 😟

Erm not really my bag - not a big fan of killing people. Also not sure that would work with having my kids half the week?! Lol

Yes - I need £500 a month to cover business expenses or these have to come out of my non-existent personal income. Then I need an extra £600 to take from the business for my personal income in order to cover my personal expenses.

I had a very good June where the copy brought in £1200 but I was SO behind with my bills that it all got swallowed up in those for the business and personal bills. If every month was like that, then I wouldn't be here lol.

July was about £600 coming in and this month £500 but I've taken two weeks off to get my energy levels back up and have the kids.

Right - so your business is making a profit. You can't include money you need to live on before you work that out. Anything over £500 a month and you are making a profit.

You need to separate the business finances from your personal finances.

Depends how far away the nearest base is, people do have families at them so it's a matter of transporting family

A good soldier doesn't enjoy killing, but they do it to save other, more innocent lives. I have shares in weapon manufacturers (and warships) and I think they are an ethical, good thing, because they generally help to end conflict more quickly and decisively and increase stability by keeping terrorists at bay

It's easier and less risky to buy into a diverse established businesses than set up your own, and you can own them in an ISA so it doesn't affect means tested benefits

This is rubbish. By using "alternative" practitioners you are throwing away money and possibly endangering your health. The reason they are alternative is because they cannot provide evidence that they work.

It doesn't matter whether you believe this or not; it is a fact.
