Please start your own thread, this one is exclusive to Taz.
@ The Deep
Avrasons1234 has not logged in since last November - presumably after reading #8 he followed the advice there and didn't need to start a thread
(You could try sending a pm to him/her in the hope he/she gets notified of your request)
(Taz not been back since August 2017 so unlikely to want to use his exclusivity at his stage)0 -

Hi Folks - new joiner and like others I need some advice on Debt Recovery Plus
Received a letter today (no previous communication) that I owed them £145 for supposedly parking at Morrisons in Maidstone back in September and exceeding the period allowed. I say supposedly because I have NEVER visited this particular store, there is NO evidence (Number plate) of entering or time clock on exit. So to my mind this is FRAUD and HARRASEMENT - is there any way of taking THEM to court for fraudulent claims and threatening behaviour. I want to and probably will phone them up and tell them in no uncertain what to do with their letter but would like to hurt them financially especially when I have NOT been in the place they claim and on the date they say. Appreciate your advice and comment0 -

It would be really helpful if you start your own thread. Tagging onto others can lead to confusion as people don't know who they are replying to.0 -

Especially as this thread is over two years old and laws have changed.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

Being 83+ years old and "sheilded" , my wife who is 77 years old is my carer , which involves amongst other tasks, to go ut and do the shopping etc.. She herself is disabled with multiple problems , including kidney and bladder On the 18th May this year she drove out to an almost empty town with every thing shut, including the shops with toilet facilities. She parked in an empty car park at the rear of £land , very near Public toilets , without checking whether it was a council car park, the rules regarding Blue Badge.
3 weeks later she got a letter from Euro car Parks for a PCN of £60 if paid within 14 days or else afterwards £100.
I appealed to ECP pointing out all mitigating circumstances , during this bad Covid lock down period. It was declined and so as advised by MSE , appealed to POPLA. It has been turned down as well.
So, not having a clue how to proceed, and with no Legal leg to stand on , the least I wish to do at this stage of our lives to relieve ourselves from stress and pay the charge in very small regular amounts , such as £10 a month. .We have very little margin left after day to day commitments from our meagre Ste Pensions.
Can I get some help from legal minded forum members how to achieve this?
Thank you in advance.0 -
Just an addendum to my previous Post above. My wife stayed a total of 11 minutes away to get to the disabled Toilets.
