Is there not an emergency nightshelter? There should be some outreach workers that can help you. Surely the Salvation Army can put you in touch with the correct people.
If you need water then ask Salvation Army for some bottles - you can always refilit's nice to be important but more important to be nice!! :kisses3:0 -
Can the GP surgery that you sent to (to get the meds) or the pharmacy that dispensed the prescription help with water?
I agree that in the 21st C it seems odd that in a first world country you can't get the most basic need of life.:(0 -

Most shopping centres will have water fountains. Also many public toilets. Not ideal but it's a short term solution.0 -
Did you not get a discharge grant ?? I know its not a lot but surely that should keep you in food ??
And do you have a probation officer , or did you serve your full term ?
I would'nt have thought probation would leave you in this situation , Its just asking for a recall

You've been asked twice now about what happened to the discharge grant, and also how come you didn't engage in one of the pre-release programmes that, amongst other things, ensure that benefits are claimed before you are discharged.
If you are currently in a public library, don't they have a toilet? And whatever comes out of the taps in the public toilets is the same water you get out of a tap in a home or a hostel.
And what about NACRO?0 -
Is there nothing left of the £20 emergency payment? What are you doing for food?
Some of the big supermarkets do 2-litre bottles of non-branded (probably tap, but obviously drinkable) water for about 17p. Keep your eyes peeled on the ground for dropped coins. Buy one bottle and refill whenever you get the chance.
I haven't bogged off yet, and I ain't no babe
