You are indeed fortunate.
Most of us would be told that this was Our Fault and was entirely due to not working hard enough, and we would still be tasked with achieving 105% of our theoretical maximum output. :mad:I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....

How do you know it should be bolted? Modern cars are almost entirely held together by glue and the odd spot weld.
Whilst it is true that there is a lot of glue used, and in many cases it is the primary fixing, there are still 1000's of spots (or rivets in the newer aluminium intensive bodies) supporting and strengthening the joins. There are also quite a few nuts and bolts as well.0
