Good quality laminate brands?

Hi all
I've been looking for laminate for my new home and fell in love with the Balitero grand narrow skyline oak. However it is a bit out of budget (my local independent has quotes £3250 all in for underlay, edges and fitting in a 27m2 room ...!) I found the laminate alone for £850 ish but still trying to find an alternative that isn't budget breaking but a good quality and hard wearing laminate (for living room diner)
I found a brand today called Chene... I can't find a single review here or on google from it though. Has anyone got any experience with this one?
I've got a few quickstep samples order too, but would be interested today if anyone tried chene ?
Thanks folks!

Quickstep is good, what's the most you can afford to pay per metre?0

I'm interested in this post too. We have 'Pergo' which isn't cheap but we have been less than impressed by it. So one to avoid!0

Yeah I've found different posts saying Pergo doesn't seem to be worth the money. Balitero and Quick Step seem to get the biggest thumbs up...
I'm looking to spend around ~£1000ish all in for a 27m2 room.0 -
You can get the Quickstep Impressive range (we have light oak downstairs and beige oak in our smallest daughter's room) for around £22/m working out at about £600 or so for your space.0

I've got Quickstep in the lounge - very happy with the quality.
Whatever you get, it looks so much better if it's fitted under the skirting boards rather than using edging.0 -
I've ordered some quick step samples today and found two suppliers near where I live to go and check them out. I haven't read a bad review on them, so can hopefully find a colour that is what I'm after...!
(I imagine things in my head... then have to find them in real life and apparently my imagination has expensive tastes...!) :rotfl:0 -

We installed Quickstep and after 10 years it still looked good as new. Decided to change and installed a different colour style Quickstep. We prefer the newer longer and wider boards.

Went with Quickstep Elite and it's been brilliant. Only a few years old and still perfect. Everyone thinks it's real wood.

With most others here in saying Quickstep. Good quality hard-wearing stuff in my experience.0

I used Swiss Krono and it went down well. Intend to use same again on current project.
