Have a read through the Newer Newquay Facebook group page where there are numerous posts about the damage being done to tourism in the area because of parking penalty regimes.

Do you by any chance have your ticket still? Comparing this to the time stamps throws up some interesting reading with regards allowing grace periods and from what I've read on the forum coupled with your fall you have more than covered this!!

Make sure you ask these guys exactly what you're going to submit. Don't forget, more often than not PE will just reject your appeal and send it to POPLA, which is where you really need to "over egg your pudding" to quote some others who are more in the know!!

I have received a fine from the same place for being in the car park for ten minutes. I didn't have the correct change so left to get money out I was in the car park for ten minutes? Can I be fined £100?

No, you can't. PE hope you don't know that.
